Experience an evening of bold new voices and sweeping symphonic melodies as the FSO presents the regional premiere of Noir Concerto No. 1 for saxophone and orchestra by film composer Adam Hochstatter. Blending cinematic atmosphere and virtuosic brilliance, the concerto showcases the expressive power and dark allure of the orchestral saxophone.
Composed during his self-imposed exile, Symphony No. 3 by Sergei Rachmaninoff remains one of the composer’s most deeply personal works—a lush and emotional symphony filled with soaring melodies, rich orchestral colors, and nostalgic beauty.
