Journey into the final year of Mozart’s extraordinary life in this immersive concert experience narrated by Bill Barclay. Through Mozart’s personal letters and some of his most profound music, audiences are transported to the great cultural capitals of Europe during the turbulent and remarkably productive year of 1791, leading up to the composer’s untimely death at age 35.
Featuring the Overture to The Magic Flute, Mozart’s masterful Clarinet Concerto with FSO Principal Clarinet Patrick Morgan, the hauntingly unfinished Requiem made famous in the film Amadeus, and more in an unforgettable program exploring the brilliance and emotional depth of one of history’s greatest composers.
