The Fairfax Symphony Orchestra will hold its annual Valentine Pops Gala & Silent Auction on Friday, February 10, 2012, at the newly renovated Hilton McLean Tysons Corner. This annual event features a silent auction and cocktail hour, followed by dinner and a Pops Concert performed by 60 members of the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra in the Hilton’s all new International Ballroom.

Featured as soloist on the Pops Concert, conducted by FSO music director Christopher Zimmerman, will be the orchestra’s 2011 Dorothy Farnham Feuer Scholarship Competition winner, Brian Hong, a senior at Robinson Secondary School in Burke, VA. Proceeds from this annual event will benefit the orchestra’s educational outreach programs in the Northern Virginia area.
