"This is a concert which highlights the FSO in all its facets.  Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante will feature our Concertmaster and Principal Viola as soloists; and, in essence, Bartok's Concerto for Orchestra makes similar virtuosic demands on individual players and orchestral sections alike.  We carry on our Sibelius exploration with the 'symphonic fantasy,' Pohjola's Daughter, another of his wonderfully evocative 'tales.'  Now here is a man who should have written music to 'Lord of the Rings!'
